Release highlights
We've just released Omada Identity Cloud Private update! What's new?
Upgrading Omada Identity Cloud Private
You can now upgrade an existing Omada Identity Cloud Private environment to a new release.
See the new Upgrade guide for step-by-step instructions on how to upgrade your Cloud Private environment, following the same principles as a fresh installation.
Security
Release package signing
Starting from this release, every Omada Identity Cloud Private release package is now signed with a code-signing certificate issued to Omada by a public certificate authority. Each release now ships with a checksum, a digital signature, a timestamp, Omada's signing certificate and its issuing intermediate, alongside a step-by-step verification guide, and an all-in-one verification script that runs all checks automatically.
This way, before installing, you can confirm that a downloaded release package actually came from Omada and has not been altered in transit, ensuring an additional layer of security for your deployment.
See Release package signing to learn more.
Monitoring
Improved health monitoring for Omada Identity Cloud Private services
We have extended system health monitoring for Cloud Private. Five critical services now expose working heartbeat endpoints and report their operational status through the System Heartbeats section (Setup > Operations Dashboard > System Heartbeats): fa-is, fa-ps, fa-ods, fa-ht, and fa-ci-ra.
Thanks to this update, you can now view the complete health status of all critical Cloud Private components in one place.
For more information, see Post-deployment health check.
Documentation
Apart from the Upgrade guide, Release package signing, and Post-deployment health check mentioned above, the product documentation has been updated and extended in the following topics:
- Cloud Application Gateway (CAG) in Cloud Private
- Horizons troubleshooting
- Architecture and release process overview
- Best practices section: Secret management and Initial imports for Horizons
