Omada Identity Cloud Private – Release

This release marks the first release of Omada Identity Cloud Private, a new deployment model that delivers the Omada Identity Cloud platform inside the customer's own Azure tenant, operated by the customer or partner, with the same cloud innovation cadence as SaaS.

Scope of this release​

Omada Identity Cloud Private delivers Omada Identity Cloud into the customer's own Azure subscription, operated by the customer or partner. A small number of features that depend on Omada-managed infrastructure are not yet available in this release:

  • Omada Identity Analytics (OIA), including Access Intelligence
  • Javi (Omada AI assistant)
  • Key Performance Indicators

Any other differences between Omada Identity Cloud and Cloud Private are highlighted on relevant pages in note boxes, for example: on the Cloud Application Gateway page, you'll learn that the over-the-air update and upgrade process is not supported in Cloud Private, as updates are managed through your own deployment and update procedures using Terraform and Ansible scripts.

Roadmap​

  • The first release is scheduled for July 17, 2026.
  • Next planned investment areas include feature parity, migration support from Omada Identity on-premises, a containerized installer, and continued alignment with the Omada Identity Cloud release cadence.
