Cloud Application Gateway

This section provides an overview of the Cloud Application Gateway (CAG), which acts as a secure and reliable bridge between Omada Identity Cloud Private with systems hosted on-premises or in external cloud environments.

This documentation applies to both Omada Identity Cloud Private and Omada Identity Cloud.

The following topics are not applicable to Cloud Private:

  • Over-the-air update and upgrade process – updates are delivered as part of standard Cloud Private package releases and applied through the deployment process. For CAG-specific update behavior, see CAG in Cloud Private.
  • IPsec/Legacy topics – these connector types and legacy connectivity patterns are not relevant to the Cloud Private deployment model.
