We've just released Omada Identity update! What's new?
A message from Nils Böckmann, Chief Technology Officer at Omada Identity: We're pleased to announce that with release 15.0.6, we are introducing long-term support (LTS) for the Omada Identity on-premises solution. The introduction of long-term support is not an end-of-life signal for Omada Identity. On the contrary: it reflects a deliberate investment, giving our customers a supported, secure, and cost-effective way forward that provides stability and predictability. LTS is designed to deliver continuity, but without new capabilities. With the 15.0.x line, we are committed to delivering:
- platform updates to keep you current with the underlying technology stack (for 15.0.6, .NET 10 and Windows Server 2025 support).
- security updates as required, so your environment stays protected.
- cumulative hot fixes addressing critical issues with the software's capabilities (however, hot fixes remain at Omada's discretion to address selected issues/change requests, we will deliver only critical items through this format).
You're in control of your path forward
You are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the Omada Identity 16 generation. It is where our newest capabilities live, and we would love for you to benefit from them. If new features are not a priority for you right now, 15.0.6 is a good safe haven. LTS also gives you an option to transition into Omada Identity Cloud (Private) or Omada Identity Sovereign through a straightforward lift-and-shift approach.
Whether you choose to move forward with Omada Identity 16.0.0 or settle comfortably into LTS, you have our full support — and our continued commitment to keeping your identity governance secure, stable, and ready for whatever comes next.
Components upgraded to .NET 10
We have upgraded all Omada Identity components from .NET 8 to .NET 10 LTS to ensure continued support, improved performance, and alignment with long-term platform strategy ahead of .NET 8 end of life (November 2026).
Windows Server 2025
Omada Identity 15.0.6 now supports Windows Server 2025.

Upcoming deprecation of SQL Server 2016
SQL Server 2016 will reach end of life on July 14, 2026. As such, SQL Server 2016 will no longer be supported, and the minimum required SQL Server version for the product will be updated to SQL Server 2017.
Customers currently using SQL Server 2016 should plan to upgrade to a supported version to ensure continued compatibility and support.
