Elements created for each application

Below you'll find the elements that need to be created once for each application or multiple times per application.

Elements created once every time (once for each application)

  • Application

    • Application (system object marked as "Is logical system")

      note

For details on how to create an application, see Creating an application.

  • Application accounts

Application accounts is a built-in logical application which should serve as the base for all applications that you onboard through the guided onboarding process.

This application is used to automatically manage account assignments for existing known account resources in known logical applications.

Application accounts has resources for each account types created in the system. We have also created an event definition so that every time you create a new account type, a resource is created for it. This happens only upon creation (and not modification) of account types.

    warning

You should not make any changes to this application.

Trust and Auto create accounts

In the guided onboarding process, all logical applications should have:

  • the trust set to Application accounts.

You can find Trusts below the Advanced headline:

Thanks to having the trust set to Application accounts, you do not have to create account resources for every new logical application, as it is done by default.

info

If an onboarded application does not have the Trusts set to any system, Application Accounts is added to Trusts by default.

  • the Auto create accounts flag ticked in the Default Resource type view:
