Software Development Kit
Deprecation of Software Development Kit (SDK)
The Connectivity Software Development Kit (SDK) is scheduled to be deprecated starting from the on-premises 16.0.0 release. Until the process is finalized, the SDK operates in maintenance mode, meaning it should not be used for new implementations. Existing implementations using the SDK will continue to work, but no new features or updates will be provided. To follow the deprecation process, see the Deprecation Calendar for more details.
The Omada Connectivity SDK installer is no longer part of standard delivery. The libraries, schemas, XML templates, and tutorials that were previously bundled in the SDK installer are now obtained individually, as described on this page and the following pages. The following changes were introduced:
- XML schemas and collector/connector XML templates are downloaded directly from the Omada Identity portal (instead of the installer).
- You can register the connector manually in the portal (or with the Registration Utility, which is now distributed with connectivity packages).
- Creating a custom onboarding experience with
OIM.SystemOnboarding.DataMapping.jsis no longer supported.
The Omada Connectivity Software Development Kit (SDK) allows Omada customers, partners, and third parties to create new full-stack connectivity for Omada Identity outside of the general Omada release cycle.
