Skip username validation in request/approval​

If you need to skip the username validation in GRC:

  • Navigate to path SPRO > Governance, Risk and Compliance > Access Control > Maintain Configuration Settings.
  • Set parameter 2051 (enable user ID validation in access request against search data sources) to No.

Required fields​

If you receive an error about a mandatory field not being filled out, contact the SAP GRC administrator and ask for the list of mandatory fields, see below where it can be found.

When you create a request, some fields are mandatory to fill out, this is maintained in the Maintain End User Personalization section under User Provisioning in the IMG.

  1. Select the EUP ID

  2. Double-click Maintain EUP Fields to enter the overview of which fields are mandatory.
