Elements created once for the whole solution
Below you'll find the elements that need to be created once in the initial application onboarding.
Resource folders
Resource folders are created once based on the desired levels of approval, for example:
- Manager and owner approval
- No approval
To create a new Resource folder:
- Go to Setup > Master data > Resources > Resource folders.
- Click New.
- Create the following Resource folders:

One folder per approval level, for example, Manager and Resource owner approval:

- Manager and Resource owner approval
Resource types
Resource types are created once for use for application accounts and roles.
To create a new Resource type:

Go to Setup > Master data > Resources > Resource types.

Click New.

Create the following Resource types:
- Application role (available in product; only necessary if you don't want to use the standard application role resource type)
noteIn most cases, you only need to create one Resource type. Reasons to create multiple types include Post-validity, Attributes (for example, for data separation), Exclusively managed resources.
- Application account
In most cases, you only need to create one account type for all application accounts.

Set Prevent self-service to Yes.
