Troubleshooting
Here you can find guidance on identifying, diagnosing, and resolving common problems encountered during the use of Horizons. Whether you're facing configuration challenges, performance issues, or unexpected errors, the steps outlined here will help you address them efficiently.
Handling deleted identities in the HR system
In a situation where an identity has Terminated status in Omada Identity, and then it is deleted in the HR system, the identity recalculation is not initiated, which disrupts the proper identity handling.
To ensure that mandatory changes are introduced to the identity in Omada Identity after it was deleted in the HR system, we recommend adding an extension attribute in the mappings, for example, DeleteInHr
which would initiate recalculating after detecting that the identity was deleted from the HR system.
Changing identity category in export mappings
Changing the identity category
in the export mappings can cause issues. If the identity category
property is included as a rule in the authoritative source policies (for more information, go to the Authoritative source policy section), then changes included in the export mappings are not applied.
To ensure that the change takes effect, remove the identity category
property rule from the authoritative source policies.
