Upgrade path verification
The installer now additionally verifies that your deployed version is one the release supports upgrading from, so that no intermediate release's one-time migrations are skipped. If the upgrade path cannot be verified, the installer guides you to upgrade to a supported version first.
For more information, see the Upgrade guide.
General improvements and optimization
We have optimized the installation and upgrade process and applied several improvements to it, including simplifying how the installer pauses imports during a run and checking that no import is running before continuing with the upgrade.
The above highlights are specifically part of the Omada Identity Cloud Private newest release.
At the same time, the newest improvements applied to Omada Identity Cloud are also applicable to Cloud Private, as the two products share the same core.
For a complete list of improvements to the newest version of Omada Identity Cloud, see the Omada Identity Cloud Release Notes and select the relevant month (the same as in Cloud Private).
