Managing service providers workflow
This document details a unified process for service providers, including those with no employment or multiple employments, onboarding new service provider, and displaying information from current employment—all seamlessly integrated into a single workflow. In the initial step of the process, the user selects the identity and its associated employment they wish to manage. If the identity is new, the user can leave these fields blank and move on to the next step.
The process facilitates different scenarios:
Scenario A
If the user has selected an identity but no employment, the user is directed to a form where he can fill in the employment information, creating an employment for the specific identity. The properties on the form which are required for creating the employment are established together with the customer.
Scenario B
If the the user has selected an identity and an employment, the user is directed to the form where he can update the employment information. On the form, the user can see information from the current employment in ready-only mode while on the same form, on a different section, he has the possibility of editing the information of the employment.
Scenario C
If the identity is new, the user is directed to a form where he is required to fill in identity information such as first name, last name, and email (this can be tailored to the customer’s needs). After the form submission, the user can fill in employment information for the new identity. When the form is submitted, the identity object is created so is the employment object.
The picture below shows an example of how the workflow described above can be configured:
